shoes look like commas

my brother came to chicago this weekend with his girlfriend clayre. events included:
-delicious (expen$ive) pizza at giordano's where my brother caught some people having sex in the bathroom
-museum on contempoary art (interesting, but lacking. two main galleries were closed for new installations. i saw some cool things, and then got a headache from the florescent lights in one of the galleries)
-watched "crash" (very good, depressing though)
-screwdrivers and smoking in the parking garage
-zucchini/green pepper omlettes for breakfast

overall, a great visit. i've been putting off doing homework all afternoon, although i went to the art institute to write a paper today. the painting i chose is called "Saint Peter's Denial," a pretty moving piece which will be easy to write about thanks to henry luttikhuizen and my 14 year christian education. (mad props to martin luther, john calvin, galen byker)

becky MALIS is coming to town tonite with her emo boyfriend. should be a wonderful time. for those of you that understand the reference, you can be sure i'll be telling her she's a liar all night.

that's my story as of the last day of jan, 2006. life is good. i hope you agree.

sympathy post; how dignified is it to only have one comment, and that being from the littlest of all bitches? 'check my blog, i post all the time?' theres not even anything from this month. obviously, you are not a golfer. hope to make it to chicago soon but bullshit keeps piling up on my weekends. also, shoes do look like commas.

also, i checked comments on that previous post, and i wanted to agree with the spam post: i find your blog inquisitive. you may also enjoy mine, even though it is not as inquisitive. i am an expert, but even i dont understand how a blog can be inquisitive. what you're really missing in w. MI is ads for the goddamned auto show. they are soooo ridiculous and i'm sure someone made a shitton of money putting it together. its like showtunes style, really excited: autoshow (WOW!) autoshow (NOW!) autoshow (WOW!) you've *got* to gooooooo to the autoshoooooooow. that's right. you've *got* to go, no choice at all. so i will see you there soon, cause it closes this afternoon, and dammit, you've *got* to go.
