i had a lovely birthday. it was one of those birthdays that starts early & ends late.
a week ago my parents came to the city & took me out for dinner at hopleaf. i had a delirium. so much butter, so much garlic. i'm still dreaming about it.
earlier this week andi flew in from texas to visit. we saw the worst movie ever, bummed around lakeview, and had dinner with the girls from work at marge's. you know it's your birthday if you get to eat mussels twice in 7 days.
life is busy, but good. work is stressful, school is good. i like my classes more than i expected, which is a nice surprise. i am taking history of interiors and architecture II and historic preservation. best part: field trips.
i am hoping to get to grand rapids in the next couple of weeks to see my ronnie's work at artprize.
tonite i might go up on the old roof.

confession: i saw his video and swooned.
and by confession i mean kind of the norm.
Nothing can ever, ever be worse than that movie we saw with Kevin and Joe about those spoiled rich kids and murder. I've blocked out most of it, including the title.
