fyi: a ponytail is an informal hair style. please remember this when you make yours look like this instead of like this. that is ugly. and it's beside the point. i encounter this bullshit hairstyle all the time at school.
(overheard in the cad lab today)
dumb broad: who was that old mexican guy she was with? is she dating him?
queen: oh no girl! he's just her sugar daddy!
entire classroom: ba-ha-ha-ha-ha!!!
me: (sigh)

i am a little confused about the antecedents re: acceptable v. unacceptable ponytail stylings. perhaps you could diagram the sentence to work it out a little more thoroughly.

i was pretty sure. but i still want a sentence diagram. that was really the driving force in the comment. but it is good to know that i should scale back on my always overly-formal ponytail.
