this kind of steamed me. i think the things he said were true, but i still have an issue with artists saying things like that. i hate talkers just as much as the next guy, but what other profession is there where you're allowed to tell people to not talk while you're doing your job.
technically, as long as you're not disregarding any of the venue's rules, you can do whatever the fuck you want at a show. it's not like i want the fan next to me to be the beer-spillin, freebird requestin blockhead who i've stood next to plenty of times before but come on, it's a fucking rock & roll concert, not a wake.
i have been at many shows where jeff has told the audience to quiet down & frankly i just don't like getting repremanded by someone i paid to see. i'm not going to tell him that though, i don't want to get punched in the face.

jeff only tells people to be quiet cause they're the 1% interfering with the enjoyment of the 99%. you're at a show to hear jeff, not to hear some dude name josh yelling about nothing. or that moron from kansas city jeff shushes on kicking television. jeff does no wrong.
