quite curious

something bizarre happens when you see someone you've compartmentalized in a certain way in a new environment; like when you see your high school gym teacher filling up at the pump or your pastor buying furniture at kmart. you know these people probably go through the same daily motions as you, but you never see them out of that certain realm, and it's odd. this is why the paparazzi make so much money taking pictures of ridiculous shit like jody foster grocery shopping or nicole richie getting her nails done.

the girls & i had this experience last night when we hung out with our favorite bartenter james at moody's pub on the north side. weird, but good. i think maybe it's good for to know everyone is a lot odder and a lot more normal than they appear. anyway, the burgers were amazing.
