this week sarah, jessica, jeanette & i watched "the devil wears prada" & "the notorious betty page." if you like sappy, overdone fashion related plots, "devil" is your movie. if you love betty page & can sit through a boring movie just because she's a saucy minx, rent it.
tonite i'm going to the bel aire lounge to see james & the regulars, it should be interesting, as usual. for those of you who don't know the bel aire is just about perfect; interesting friendly people, cheap drinks, and a fabulous juke box. check it out!
tomorrow i have to work & then get my new couch & chair delivered-- very exciting. later i'm going to see christopher & maybe make him dinner. it's been way too long & i'm getting completely antsy to see him.
monday bethy & john braaksma will be in town all day, yay.
oh, and claire beyer and her man peter were here yesterday. we went out for a fancy dinner & drinks. i miss that funny precious girl so much. damn you texa$.

I could oh told you that Bettie page was the shit. hell i have her plastered all over my house!! lol not to mention i bought that movie recently myself. stay away from those underground rip off flicks. its just a bunch of sappy look alikes tryin to immitate betty. Heres a fun fact, did you know that when they originally came up with the title for the film "The Notorious Betty Page" Betty didnt know what the movie was called. In an interview with her shortly after the premiere it was said that a elderly betty was sitting next to Hugh Hefner when the opening for the movie started. She turned and looked at Hef and said " NOTORIOUS!?! Where did they get that? " Hef turned and looked to Ms Page and smiled and said " Youll always be notorious to me" That story made me smile when i first read it.
