this was taken last winter, but it's beginning to apply...
i rocked the socks off my first presentation folks. the socks are literally off.
reminds me of this story my brother told me about a folk musician he heard being interviewed on the radio. the musician was asked about the first time he heard folk music and his reply sounded something like this:
"so i was sitting in my room one day & i heard some strange sounding music coming from the room next door. i was so intrigued i LITERALLY got up and went to check it out."
this story is 10X funnier if you say LITERALLY with A LOT OF INTENSITY.
part 2:
if you know mark mulder you may know what i mean when i say, "the boots stay on baby, the boots stay on."
hope you're havin a wonderful week, dear readers. i've been at work/lab for a week straight & i'm ready for some r-e-l-a-x-a-t-i-o-n.

I'M SORRY ABOUT MY TELEPHONE BULLSHIT. I'm really burnt out about everything right now. Not in the Kent kind of way of course, more like the "Mr. Byrd when he makes choir a study hall because he's launched himself into a temporary but intense depressive mood" kind of way, except without the ridiculous teal and gold footwear and silk shirts.
Your post made me laugh real laughs. Wheee.
